A Brief Biography

Florida became my home for the third and final time in 1984 when I married Joe. We raised two beautiful and talented girls in St. Petersburg. I learned how to be a songwriter during this time and performed in concert and at festivals until we moved to Michigan in 2005.

The natural outflow of being a professional musician was to share what I know through music lessons. It’s something I continue to this day. It brings much joy into my household! Teaching music from my home led to an opportunity to teach K-8 music at St. John Lutheran School in Rogers City, Michigan. The students and I are having a lot of fun!

The knowledge gained while studying music for 15 years with Mark J. Dye also translated into a six-year tenure as music director for contemporary worship at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg.

I started developing websites in 1995, well before the process became cohesive and streamlined. In 2015, I earned a certificate in web development and an AB in e-Business to back up the experience gained during those years.

The experience of marketing myself as a singer-songwriter and an AB in e-business translated into a seven-year relationship as a marketing consultant for a local business with a global footprint.

Helping couples create the wedding ceremony of their dreams and then officiating on their special day started in 2014 at the request of a good friend. It’s been a joy watching these couples on their life journeys and having the opportunity to meet their children!

The adventure continues and I look forward to sharing my life’s journey with you!
