A dream comes true
I had a dream after the birth of my second child. I wanted to pursue music as a career. My husband gave me one month of lessons with his childhood friend and musical genius, Mark Dye. The greatest musical adventure of my life was about to begin.
Through Mark J. Dye's mentorship I became a bona fide songwriter and performed at many venues throughout Florda for 14 years. Some of my songs even won awards at the regional and state level.
The relationships built within the Florida folk and acoustic music community were the inspiration behind the Keeping Company... with Donna Klein music series at the Catherine A. Hickman Theatre in Gulfport, Florida. The series ran for three years (ending with our move to northern Michigan) and provided many fun times and great memories!
I'm not be pursuing performing in concert and at festivals at the present time but remain available for those opportunities. Here are a couple of live performance videos with my former music partner, Laren Corie.
